A "Guilty" Blast From The Past

I was going through some of my mp3s last night when I ran across some songs from my old band, The Guilty. The band was put together in approximately 1989. I was in the band less than a year. The total life of the band was about a year before it fell apart. Original lineup was Dave (guitar), Mark (guitar), Tracy (vocals), Chuck (bass), and James (drums).

We played all original music. This particular song that is posted here is called, “When The Night Comes Down”. It is one of two songs that I wrote for the band. I wrote parts of most of the other songs we did, but this one and another one called “Running In The Night” were mine entirely. This demo was recorded very shortly after I left the band, and got some radio play on a local college radio station.

I’ve got a couple more songs I may upload at some point. It’s funny how something such as writing songs and playing guitar can be such a big part of your life at one point and then completely vanish over time.
