I'm Picking Newt!

It's taken a while for things to start sorting themselves out in the republican primary race.  In the initial group of candidates, I immediately favored Newt.  But from the beginning I didn't think he stood a chance at getting the nomination.  Then when a number of of his staff quit, I thought he was done.  Was I ever wrong.

We are at a turning point in the history of the United States.  If President Obama is elected to a second term, I feel that the America that we have always known will be lost.  We are at a time when we need PROVEN leadership.  Someone whose presence alone will command respect for our nation.  Someone that knows history, and has learned from it.  Someone who knows our government inside and out, and above all loves his country.

We are fortunate that a man that meets all those requirements is running.  His name is Newt Gingrich, and he is the one that I am supporting for President of the United States of America in 2012.
